Sony Electronics is now shipping the industry’s first end-to-end network-based IP monitoring packaged solutions to distributors and system integrators. The new “all-in-one” packaged solutions combine four Sony network-ready cameras with a Network Video Recorder which consists of a Sony® VAIO® PC with Real Shot™ Manager camera and video management software, to deliver a complete system for capturing, viewing, recording and archiving real-time digital video.
Sony's network-based IP monitoring systems provide a complete solution, and enable video monitoring by multiple people in different locations with wireless capabilities and without distance constraints. The systems can be easily integrated in a network infrastructure to satisfy the various security needs of users in the corporate, government, education, transportation, manufacturing, healthcare and retail fields.
The cameras can generate JPEG images, which can be simultaneously monitored, accessed, recorded and printed by up to 50 authorized personnel anywhere on the network through a PC or select handheld devices, providing quick and easy access during emergency situations. The SNC-RZ30N and the SNC-Z20N cameras can also stream JPEG video with 30 frames per second based on a maximum of 736 x 480 pixels.
